Johnny Appleseed Day
Studying Folk Heroes is a major standard for first grade. On Johnny Appleseed's Birthday, we took the celebration to a new level by dressing like the folk hero and parading through the halls. The students had so much fun with their outfits which included plaid shirts, wearing pots on their heads, and carrying satchels. Check our our class decked out in their Johnny Appleseed gear!

I hate that hat day was the same day as Johnny Appleseed day! They all looked great though :) And Trey definitely looks like him!
